Under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao centrally sponsored scheme effectively implemented in the district northwest after 22^nd January 2015 announced by our Hon’ble Prime Minister. The child Sex ratio of district North West was declined due to unaware about the importance of a girl child and which 899/1000 in 2015-16 but was after took initiative by District Administration it has been increased to i.e 911/1000 2016-17. The District had organized various events for awareness and sensitizes the public with the coordination of various stakeholders. Under the scheme district organized a Pink Marathon, Run For a girl Child and stop female feticide in November 2016. School student, teachers, RWA, NGO’s had actively participated. Another initiative through Drawing  competition and cultural activities on theme of BBBP and POSCO ACT, PC&PNDT ACT on 5.08.2016.at DM office Kanjhawala. In this event culture of 5 villages of sub division kanjhawala. Also local champions and students who are academically sports, Art & culture who have commendable performance had recognized and facilitated by the District Magistrate. Stalls were also setup by various departments like, WCD, Social Welfare, PNB Bank, Delhi Police, and Health etc. Aaware about the schemes, safety & security about girl child.
