Pankhudi Paathshala - अपने सपनों की उड़ान !
- It is
an innovative initiative taken by North – West District Administration of
Delhi with a golden dream of educating and empowering dropout girls.
- The Paathshalas have been set
in their nearby aanganwadi centres.
- Pankhudi Paathshalas is a
channel to enrol eligible ones into formal or informal education system
and impart education to other girls in these Paathshalas itself.
- Basic
lessons of Hindi, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge are taught in
these paathshalas.
- Nearly 80 Pankhudi
Paathshalas have been set up till now with a target of 130+ Paathshalas in
near future.
- Pankhudi
Paathshalas have been and will continue to work for precious smiles on
these innocent faces.
How Paathshala works –
- The structure of Paathshalas
is based on mainly two words i.e. Batch and Shell.
- Batch is a group of 4 to 5
nearby aaganwadi centers in a particular area.
- Shell is the main and the
centremost aaganwadi center amongst the batch of 4-5 aaganwadis where
Pankhudi Paathshala is opened.
- Paathshalas run between 2
p.m. to 4 p.m. to suit the girl’s work routine.
For Aadhar camps –
- Documentation Problem like
unavailability of Aadhar Cards or any other proof were solved by
conducting Aadhar camps at different areas.
For counselling sessions –
- Orthodoxical thinking of
parents regarding the importance of girl child education was solved
through regular counselling sessions and awareness camps.
Ths is an inovatve initiative, in whch it wll ply an imprtnt role in educating and empwering dropout girls. Ths kind of inovatve whole India shuld be in the country. In whch people chngd the cnservtve thnkng fr girl child education
